The new year came with different updates for the 2020 Kia Sportage and even though the rule is “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, oftentimes companies like Kia make what’s not broke better.
Here are the new things on the 2020 Kia Sportage:
The old headlights style made way for a new one with an assist from lights that prevent the accumulation of moisture on them – subtle water-proofing and added anti-accident protection for owners there!
On The Road
Kia’s recognition of how thorough driving should be for the one behind the wheel, those behind other wheels and those on the road plays out in the introduction of auto high beams, pedestrian detection, lane maintenance assist and forward collision alert to the 2020 Sportage. Bear in mind that the SX version has a driver attentiveness mirror and adaptive cruise control.
Front: Bumper & Grille
Leading the way before the rest of the Sportage’s body is a redesigned bumper & grille for this vehicle; the grille has been made irregular and if you love irregular grilles on your car’s body, you weren’t an afterthought to Kia.
Following loosely from the front, the Sportage gets a redefinition in its exhaust tips as an introductory request for better emission of smoke while you drive.
Information plus Entertainment
Noting the importance of information plus entertainment as you drive, there’s an updated 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system alongside Apple CarPlay and compatibility with Android Auto. Higher versions of the 2020 Kia Sportage bumps you up from the aforementioned to a premium entertainment system: the Harmon/Kardon Audio system plus accessibility to UVO or Homelink connected services.
The steering wheel has been steered from its previous feel to a steering wheel clothed in perforated leather.
Upholstery: Sofino Leatherette
Leather is the standard in the 2020 Kia Sportage but if you are looking for a premium or otherwise-available feel, the Sofino leatherette has been introduced as an option which suitably fits the already redesigned steering wheel.
